Maybelline Superstay Better Skin Foundation Review

First off I want to state that, I received this from influenster for testing purposes.
All opinions are my own experience from testing out.

Shade: Classic Ivory

08/03/15: I've been trying this foundation out for a week now. So far I'm loving it. I can feel that my skin is brighter and more hydrated. This foundation is a thin consistency. It has SPF 15. The coverage is medium. I have to use about 1.5-2 pumps.

UPDATE 10/12/15: I love this foundation. The coverage is great. I have combination skin. It covers redness and evens out my skin tone. I don't have to set it with a powder. I do feel that this foundation have great skin benefits. When I use this foundation it makes my face feel soft and looks brighter.

The only con about this foundation is that the brand is not cruelty free so I won't be repurchasing it. I'm a cruelty free user but because this was sent to me, I was required to make this review. I hope I can help some of you with this review.

Hard Candy 20th Anniversary Nail Swatches

Hard Candy 20th Anniversary Nail Polishes.
Recently Hard Candy came out with some limited edition products for their 20th Anniversary.

I picked up the 8 nail polishes. The first 5 (Coconut, Claws Up!, Sky, Mint and Scam) are old colors that are brought back and the last 3 (Girlie, Tangerini, and Zombie) are new shades.

These nail polishes are $4 each.

*First off, I want to apologize for the bad nail painting. This is my first time doing nail swatches. It was not easy. Haha

1. Coconut: Milky White with purple and blue iridescent.

Application: 1st coat was sheer and very streaky. While applying I noticed a texture, but that didn't affect the finish look. The iridescent was not noticeable until after removing the nail polish.

In the swatch below: three coats.

2. Claws Up!: Tan/Nude Beige with silver iridescent.

Application: 1st coat was nice and even. The formula on this one is very easy to work with, I like it a lot more then some of the other ones in this collection. It has a beautiful cream finish with silver iridescent after drying. Two coats was good but I think a third coat is optional for those who likes very opaque nails.

In the swatch below: two coats.
*This one is one of my top three favorites.

3. Sky: Baby Blue with iridescent.

Application: 1st coat was a little messy. The formula on this one is very thin, The polish pools up on the tips. Since it is thin, it can create air bubbles. To avoid this, you have to apply a thinner coat. The iridescent was barely noticeable. Two coats was good but I think a third coat is optional for those who likes very opaque nails.

In the swatch below: two coats.

4. Mint: Pale Mint with iridescent.

Application: The formula on this one similar to Sky, it is very thin so it creates air bubbles and pools up on the tips.  To avoid this, you have to apply a thinner coat. The iridescent was barely noticeable until after removing the nail polish. Two coats was good but I think a third coat is optional for those who likes very opaque nails.

In the swatch below: two coats.

5. Scam: Magenta Purple with blue iridescent.

Application: 1st coat was nice and even. The formula on this one is very easy to work with, It has a cream finish with beautiful blue iridescent after drying. Two coats was good. I did notice that the more coats you add, the darker it gets. This is a very beautiful shade.

In the swatch below: two coats.
*This one is one of my top three favorites.

6. Girlie: Pink with iridescent.

Application: 1st coat was nice and even. The formula on this one is very easy to work with. Looking at the bottle, I expected this to be brighter but it's not that bad. The iridescent is very sheer and can be seen better in the sun/light. Two coats was good but I think a third coat is optional for those who likes very opaque nails.

In the swatch below: two coats.

7. Tangerini: Bright Coral no iridescent.

Application: 1st coat was streaky. This one seems to have more streaks. It's the only polish in this collection without iridescent. The second coat was still not good enough, so for best results use three coats! I love this shade, it's very fun for Spring and Summer.

In the swatch below: three coats.
*This one is one of my top three favorites.

8. Zombie: Deep almost Black Purple with iridescent.

Application: 1st coat was opaque. The only polish in this collection that is opaque and not streaky. The iridescent is beautiful. I recommend two coats just because....LOL

In the swatch below: two coats.

My Thoughts

I think these polishes are very good quality for the price. They are $4 each. Since they are limited edition, I do recommend you trying them out!

I noted my top three up there but here is a list on them again.

1. Claws Up!: Very gorgeous Nude with Silver iridescent.
2. Tangerini: Bright Fun Coral Shade.
3. Scam: To me, this is a unique shade!!!

Swatches Morphe Brushes: 35T - 35 COLOR TAUPE PALETTE **NEW**

Morphe Brushes came out with some new palettes. The one I am swatching today is the taupe palette (35T). This palette cost me $22.99. Along with this purchase, I bought three other palettes. This is my first time purchasing from Morphe Brushes and so far I'm very happy about the quality.

Here is the picture of the palette from the Morphe Brushes website. I have to admit the picture does not look like the palette in person. The picture is lighter and the palette is darker. That's my opinion.

Update/Review 5/27/15
I'm loving this palette, the shades are all gorgeous. I do find that some shadows are still powdery when applied with makeup brushes, so it causes some fallout. I use my fingers when packing on the eye lid. The shadows are easy to blend if you have a good base/primer. If you don't put a base on it will be patchy.

Carefree Acti-Fresh Liners Review

Panty liners are used for many reasons, everyday discharge, at the beginning or end of your period when it is lighter  and  as a backup to tampons, in case your tampon leaks. Some people choose to wear them everyday, others occasionally, and some don't wear them at all. It is all personal preference.

If you wear panty liners everyday. These are great. They are thin and comfortable. There is no scent. The length of the panty liner is good, it covers the right area. I think it would be nice if they were a little longer just because when you sit in different positions, your underwear do move and the liner moves too. I change my panty liners after 2-3 hours wear. It really depends on how long you need it for and when you feel the need to change.

If you wear panty liners at the beginning or end of your period when it is lighter these may or may not work for you. If you have heavier flow and they end of your period is not light then these wont work but if you have a regular flow and your end of period is light, these will work.

I think these will also work for tampons leaks. I don't wear tampons often so I can't say much about it. I am currently pregnant right now and these are perfect for everyday use :)

Pros: Good for everyday use.
Cons: The adhesive to stick on the underwear is not as strong on some liners. It is not super absorbent so if you are not light flow, it won't work for you.

Overall I give it a 3/5 for everyday use :D
